Still more
More photos. The man in the pictures is Tim Landles, who is the estate agent. He is VERY tall, at least 6' 6". He stands literally head and shoulders over me. And the doorways are about 6 feet tall, as they are only about 5 inches taller than I am. There's a picture of a plant here. Don't know what it is, can you tell me? The pillows are the inside of the green gazebo. It's about the size of a British phone box.

Not quite a thousand words...
Here's a link to a guy who specializes in aerial photography. This picture of Castle Rising pretty clearly shows our house in relation to the castle.
If you look at his copyright notice (which is why I don't put the pic here, just the above link) and follow straight down from the "C" in ".co.uk" you can see the brown roof of Home Farm peeking through the trees, just at the 7 o'clock position from those red-roofed buildings.

More about the place
So, this place is a "Conservation area." It's historic, don't you know? Here's a couple of links to info. First, a (deleted obsolete link to the 1.36MB pdf file of the) draft character statement about the "Castle Rising" area. If you go to page 6 in the pdf document, and find the words "Castle Rising" in the center of the map, you'll find "Home Farm" immediately above. That's the place.
Here's the Castle Rising website itself. That has a few pics of the castle itself, and a general map of the area.
Wow. Still stunned. This is gonna be GREAT. Thanks to 'is Lordship.
